This week we have been working with Wendy Casperson of the St Heliers Bay Village Business Association installing panels for their newly established heritage trail in time for this year's  Auckland Heritage Festival running from 26 September - 11 October. 

19 heritage icons have been identified and panels have been created providing a photograph and brief overview of the icon's historic significance. Panels also support a QR Code that when scanned deliver viewers to a specific mobile website with further information. 

It is hoped, that as seen in other Auckland locations, the creation of the trail will gain local support and see additional information and images be offered up by locals, further enriching the information presented.

The seaside village offers a guided walk as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival. The walk is scheduled for September 26th at 11am.
